Today’s JCAL online art lesson we take on the task of drawing and (spray) painting hands. We’ll sip good coffee, get deep and ethereal, work through mistakes and make great art. Come hang out and get “Hands On”! 😛

This week for our online art class. We learn to draw the face and figure at angles using perspective and foreshortening. Then shake up your spray paint and use your new skills to paint a masterpiece. This week I visited my cousins from Brazil in Mississippi and did a lil lesson with them. We made Goyataku prints with fish and fruit AND ALSO glitter paintings. Come get funky with us, experiment and make some art.

This week for our online art class, we forget about the quarantine and focus on whats going on in our world. This class is about using art and music (featuring Dror Pikielny on guitar) to express emotions, protest injustices, have compassion for others and heal ourselves. There is power in art!
